Team-UP San Antonio, Inc. is dedicated to helping union members in San Antonio through education, assistance, and volunteer action. We believe support starts by meeting people where they are and understanding the challenges they may be facing.
Our work focuses on connecting union members with available services, creating educational opportunities, encouraging peer support, and bringing people together to take action in their community.

Assistance
Helping Members Find Support When They Need It
When a union member is facing a challenge, knowing where to turn can make a difference. Team-UP works to help members identify available support and services that may address their needs.
Our goal is to meet people where they are and help connect them with resources rather than expecting them to navigate every challenge on their own.
Education
Supporting Members as They Learn and Grow
Education can open doors and provide important opportunities for union members and apprentices. Team-UP supports educational efforts that help members continue developing their knowledge and skills.
The First-Year Apprentice Book Fund is one example of this work, helping qualifying incoming first-year apprentices with essential training-related expenses.
Peer Support
Members Supporting Members
Sometimes support begins with having someone who will listen. Team-UP creates opportunities for union members to connect with one another, share experiences, and provide peer-to-peer support.
By encouraging members to look out for one another, Team-UP helps create connections within the union community and provides another way for people to find support when they need it.
Volunteer Action
Turning Community Ideas Into Action
Team-UP gives members opportunities to contribute their time, skills, and ideas through volunteer efforts and community projects.
Members and community participants can also bring forward project ideas, helping create opportunities for people to work together on efforts that serve the community.

Team-UP San Antonio, Inc. is a volunteer-run organization created around a simple purpose: helping union members find support, opportunities, and resources when they need them.
Life can bring challenges that are difficult to navigate alone. Team-UP works to provide a place where union members can reach out, find information, connect with available assistance, and discover ways to support others.
Our work is not limited to one type of need. We focus on practical assistance, education, peer support, and volunteer action so that members can find meaningful support while also having opportunities to give back.
